How do I add conditional logic to my forms? (coming soon)
What & Why
Conditional logic lets you show or hide certain fields based on a visitor’s previous answers. This creates a personalized experience and avoids overwhelming users with irrelevant questions.
Steps:
- Open your popup in the Design Editor.
- Add all the form fields you might need.
- Select the field you want to control.
- In the Field Settings panel, enable Conditional Logic.
- Define rules:
- If Field A equals X, show Field B.
- If Field A equals Y, hide Field B.
- If Field A equals X, show Field B.
- Repeat for all necessary conditions.
- Save changes and test in Preview Mode to ensure logic works smoothly.
Example: If someone selects “Business Inquiry,” show a “Company Name” field. If they select “Support Request,” skip it.
Pro Tip: Don’t overuse conditional logic — too many rules can make forms slow or buggy.
How do I schedule a popup for specific dates and times? (coming soon)
What & Why
Scheduling lets you run popups only during a set period — perfect for seasonal sales, product launches, or event promotions.
Steps:
- Go to your popup campaign in Superpopups.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Find the Schedule section.
- Toggle Enable Scheduling.
- Set your Start Date & Time and End Date & Time.
- (Optional) Choose Specific Days of the Week and Time Ranges (e.g., weekdays 9 AM–5 PM).
- Save your settings.
- Preview and confirm the schedule in your dashboard calendar view.
Example: Run a Black Friday popup from Nov 25 at 12:00 AM to Nov 27 at 11:59 PM.
Pro Tip: Always set an end date for time-sensitive popups — nothing’s worse than showing a “Sale Ends Today” offer two weeks late.
How do I create a multi-step popup form? (coming soon)
What & Why
A multi-step popup form lets you collect information in stages instead of asking for everything at once. This reduces friction, makes the process feel easier, and often boosts completion rates.
Steps:
- Log in to Superpopups.
- Open the popup campaign you want to edit or create a new one.
- Go to the Design Editor.
- In the left panel, click Add Step.
- Step 1 – Keep it simple: ask for one easy piece of information (e.g., email address).
- Step 2 – Ask for additional details (name, phone, preferences).
- Use the Step Navigation Controls to:
- Change step order.
- Set required fields for each step.
- Add a “Back” button if you want users to navigate freely.
- Change step order.
- In Settings → Actions, define what happens after the final step (e.g., show success message, redirect to thank-you page).
- Save & preview your multi-step popup.
Example: Step 1 asks “Want 10% off? Enter your email.” Step 2 asks “Where should we send your coupon? (Name & location).”
Pro Tip: Keep the first step extremely easy — once people start, they’re more likely to finish.
